A non-refundable deposit is required before any design, development, or consulting work commences. This secures your project in our production schedule. The remaining balance is due strictly prior to the delivery of final design files or the live launch of a website.
Due to the highly customized nature of digital design, web development, and strategy services, all deposits and payments are strictly non-refundable once work has commenced. By making a payment, you acknowledge that you are purchasing our time, expertise, and digital assets. If a project is cancelled by the client prior to completion, Karl Chevrier retains the initial deposit to cover the time and resources already allocated.
Every project includes a predetermined number of revision rounds as outlined in your specific project quote. A "revision" constitutes a reasonable modification to the presented design concepts. Any requests that significantly alter the original project scope, or revisions requested after the agreed-upon rounds are exhausted, will be billed separately at a standard hourly rate.
Successful projects require timely feedback. If a client fails to communicate, respond to inquiries, or provide necessary project assets (text, images, logins) for a period exceeding 30 consecutive days, the project will be classified as abandoned. In the event of abandonment, Karl Chevrier reserves the right to close the project, and any deposits or payments made will be forfeited. Reopening an abandoned project may be subject to a reactivation fee.
Karl Chevrier retains full copyright and ownership of all preliminary designs, sketches, mockups, and source code until the project invoice is paid in full. Upon receipt of final payment, full rights to the approved, final deliverables are transferred to the client. However, Karl Chevrier retains the non-exclusive right to display the completed project within his professional portfolio, social media, and marketing materials for promotional purposes.
Promotional codes and offers are valid for new and returning clients booking a new project with Karl Chevrier. Offers are subject to availability and project schedule capacity.
To redeem a promotional offer, the client must provide the valid coupon code during the initial inquiry or consultation phase, prior to the approval of the final quote and payment of the project deposit.
Unless otherwise specified, discounts apply only to standard Graphic Design, Website Design & UX/UI, and Web Coding packages. Offers may be subject to a minimum project quote value.
Karl Chevrier reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any promotional offer or coupon code at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
